Worth it!
This software is amazing. And in spite of a high price tag it's helping me avoid subscriptions for different software that is way crazier. For recording two iPhones this is essential and is helping me avoid purchasing a DSLR.
Almost perfect for my use case
I was really after the NDI streaming. Didn't take much effort to get that working. The flexibility to slap relatively cheap hardware onto a gimbal, hand it to someone, and capture cool footage while flipping sources in OBS is what makes this worth it.
This is my favorite app
I use this to stream from multiple iPhone cameras each Sunday for Church using a wired connection via OBS and it's solid. I've tried wireless with NDI and that's been great too when I need mobility.
Stream Dream
I've been using this app to stream live vintage arcade game play for over a year now and it works fantastic with a good quality USB-C to Lightning cable on iPhone 11.

Honestly this is the greatest thing ever for streaming for me since I don't want to lug my bigger camera. I use an older iPhone X just to be my streaming cam and this works so perfectly. I love that you can select which phone camera lens it uses as well.
Great app, great dev support
I'm using this app with an iPod as an OBS source via Ethernet for very low latency. The iPod is mounted high on a wall, and I can control camera settings right from OBS. After a few emails the dev helped me get everything up and running.
Low latency with heaps of settings options
There are many other cheaper and free options but none offer options as much as this app! EV, zoom, flash, grid, WB, shutter speed, resolution, bitrate, and USB or NDI output. You can even turn the screen off to save battery.
Simple set up, fantastic quality
This was pretty much plug and play. I'm completely new to OBS and set this up within a minute or two with no difficulties at all. The only issue was that the camera quality was so high. My self esteem couldn't cope with seeing my face in such laser sharp detail.
Great app and dev
I've been using this app for about a year with no issue whatsoever. A recent update included a bug with some flickering. I contacted support and had a response within the same day! They invited me to the Beta program and the issue was resolved within the week.
Literally a GAMECHANGER
The Logitech C922 "Pro Stream" is $100 for quality that is frankly... trash. With OBS Camera, my iPhone blows it out of the water. If you are serious about streaming and want the best quality without breaking the bank, this is IT.
Irreplaceable!
I stream our worship service and tried multiple webcams plus a Sony HD camcorder. This app is incredible — iPhone cameras are so much better than moderately priced webcam options. I bought an iPhone 8 from eBay just to use as a second camera. Will was incredibly helpful when I hit a technical issue.
A huge improvement !!
I bought a webcam but green screening in OBS was a nightmare. With this app it took minutes to get a feed — the picture from an iPhone is a magnitude better than a good webcam. Chromakey was perfect with the default settings. Installation was a breeze over USB.
